Example block page

This page demonstrates the different types of blocks we can use to build a page.

Example block page

Every page that uses the layout system should begin with this Introduction block.

This Paragraph block is used for standard text.

Add hyperlinks by highlighting the text you'd wish to link from, clicking the chain/hyperlink icon and pasting in the destination URL.

Alternatively, you can type in the title of a page on the AIFFP website you'd like to link to.

 • Add bullet or numbered lists by highlighting the text and clicking either the bullet or numbered list icon.

Content blocks

Besides the Introduction and Paragraph blocks, we can also use Heading blocks (like the one above).

Below is an example of an Image block, with an optional caption.

A single image with a caption.

You can also use Highlight and Quote blocks for more specific content callouts.

Use this Highlight block to draw attention to an important statement.

Use this Quote block to insert and attribute a quote to a person.

The Image gallery block creates a slider of up to five images.

Captions are drawn from the media files themselves, set when uploading or in the Content > Media menu.

Embed blocks

When you'd like to embed content from around the web, you can use the Facebook, Twitter and YouTube/Vimeo blocks.

To embed Facebook and Twitter posts, you need the respective post's permalink.

This URL can be found by clicking on the time/date of publication for the post.

For YouTube or Vimeo videos, simply copy the link to that video.

You can add a simple caption to explain the video.

Link blocks are used to help people find useful parts of the AIFFP website or download important documents.

The Page or file block is the standard one to use for this purpose.

Use the same block to make a file available for download.

If you'd instead like to link to a Case Study, use the Link: Case Study block.

It will automatically use the title and rich media from your selected case study to create the link.

Finally, if you have a sequence of pages that you want the user to keep moving through, such as in the Policy section, end a page with the Link: next page block.

This page should only ever be used as the final block on a page.
