Approved – in negotiation
In 2020, Australia approved financing for a large scale Solar Plant in Papua New Guinea to be developed in partnership with PNG Power Ltd. The original site was planned for Markham Valley, Morobe Province but proved unsuitable during feasibility assessments. The location for the proposed site remains in negotiation. Further updates on this project will be provided through this website.
